2021 a year we were alone together. We swiped right on love. Our story starts with a white background and yellow text bubbles. You guessed it! Bumble! Icebreaker? “Hey you!” Guess who said it? From there it was the usual topics ranging from vaccine status to our most bizarre quarantine stories.

One day, we decided to turn our virtual banter into a real life adventure. Our first date? A masked meet up followed by dinner. In true social distancing fashion, Steven, awkwardly sat 6 feet away before Lindsay told him to get closer.

Little did we know what the future had in store for us. The coming months were a whirlwind of dates and adventures.

Spending Lindsay’s birthday weekend in Vermont set the scene for our ultimate adventure. Let’s set the scene: they stayed at a charming B&B for her 31st birthday. While out for dinner, Steven’s friend decorated the room for the occasion. Upon their return, Lindsay opened the door and her immediate reaction was that the room was decorated for her birthday. To her surprise, Steven was on one knee. They still can’t agree on what was actually said but one thing is for certain. She said Yes!
